Did you enjoy you time off? Did you do anything special? Did you get a chance to see your family or friends? Did you travel anywhere?
Today we want to give you a chance to just speak your mind and share your experiences.
November 17th through the 21st is American Education Week. This is a time set aside by the NEA (National Education Association) to spotlight the importance of providing every child in America with a quality public education from kindergarten through college, and the need for everyone to do his or her part in making public schools great.
In your opinion, what makes a school GREAT?
(PS: When you’ve finished posting, learn more about American Ed. Week at NEA’s homepage.)
Students at Longfellow had the opportunity to participate in a mock election last Thursday. So, tell us a little about your experience!
What did it feel like to know your voice would be counted in our mock election?
What influenced your decision? (You don’t need to give away your choice. Instead, tell us if the after school announcements, TV commercials, the news, or your parents or friends had an influence on your decision.)
Were you excited/surprised by the results?
