New discoveries, cool projects, and excellent tips from inspired 4th and 5th graders
Book Birds are so very awesome because we get to read a novel then meet in a group with Mr. Winner. Then we talk about the novel, have snacks, and do things that actually happened in the book. While you’re there you also get to see your friends, and sometimes your teachers!

Why read?
Our students at LFES recently had the chance to express their thoughts on the importance of reading by creating READ posters to display throughout our library media center. The winning posters in grades 2-5 are displayed above.

Mrs. Baker and I are so happy to have such great 4th and 5th grade bloggers! This is the first time many of you have ever blogged before, so we thought we’d ease in with a fun introduction activity.
