What is your best memory from elementary school? Doing exercises in gym to a song that went “Go you chicken fat, go away… go you chicken fat, go!!!”
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? a librarian or a gymnast
What college did you go to? St. Mary’s College of Maryland (Bachelor’s) and Towson State University (Master’s)
What is your favorite children’s book or chapter book? Maybe Where the Wild Things Are
What is your favorite website? The Walter’s Art Museum just launched a cool game on their website called “Waltee’s Quest”
What is your favorite color? purple

Wow! You wanted to be a LIBRARIAN?! That’s so cool! Of course, I know you love children’s books. You use them so much when you’re teaching. What an inspiration!! We know how much you love to teach! It shows on your face each and every day!

Mrs. Alger is so awesome! She gives us so many opportunities to learn about art. She lets us do the coolest projects such as making puppets, metal engravings, and she’s even taking the 4th grade class to the Walters Art Museum to see a mythology exhibit.
